About The Author

The author has been a practicing American lawyer for five decades.

During his career he has represented many clients who were charged with crimes, and also many who were injured by others. The former were defendants in criminal cases and the latter were plaintiffs in civil lawsuits. Also, the author has represented many clients on both criminal and civil appeals.

Examples of criminal cases in which he has represented clients are: driving while intoxicated, murder, assault, sex abuse, arson, battery, and drug possession and sale.

Examples of the civil cases he has handled are negligence, (including automobile and train accidents, and product liability), libel, slander, civil rights i.e. police misconduct, divorce, child custody, contract disputes, medical and legal malpractice, and fraud.

The author wrote this novel to give interested readers a story that accurately portrays the American legal system in action.
